TRAFFIC ENGINEER

TEC is currently searching for a mid-level Traffic Engineer. The position will include providing project management duties for multiple and varied traffic/transportation projects. The long-term goal for this position is to eventually take over the office management position in this office. The starting salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Position Requirements:

Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization
Ability to work independently and with a team
Ability to manage and complete projects accurately and efficiently

Qualifications:

B.S. Civil Engineering from ABET- accredited civil engineering program
Licensure as a Professional Engineer in the state of Oklahoma, or ability to acquire in 6 months
Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification is highly desirable
5-8 years of experience with project management experience

Desired Knowledge

Traffic signal design and timing experience
Operational analysis software experience (HCS, Synchro, SimTraffic, CORSIM, VISSIM)
Traffic Impact Analyses

Familiar with Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD)

Familiar with Complete Streets concepts
Familiar with ADA design requirements with regards to pedestrian accessibility

ENGINEER-IN-TRAINING

TEC is currently searching for an entry level Traffic Engineer. The qualified applicant should have interest in traffic engineering and design and will be involved in traffic studies and design projects. He/She will receive mentoring and support from the team and will assume additional responsibilities as experience is attained.

CADD TECHNICIAN

TEC is currently searching for a mid-level CADD Technician. This position is responsible for performing technical computer-aided drafting and design work preparing civil design plans and drawings using MicroStation CAD software. The starting salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
